We had a nice relaxing night at the KOA in Williamsport,MD.

This morning, like every morning, Windy and Shelby enjoyed their home-made dog food. They love it so much we call it “puppy crack”…I think they are addicted to it.

This campground has something I’ve never seen at a campground before….a 50’s style diner.  It also has a greenish colored river named “The Conococheague Creek”. They may call it a creek, but it looks like a river to me.

We didn’t leave camp until noon today since it should only take about three hours to get to Dover.

Magnificent!

We just crossed over the Cheasepeake Bay Bridge….I had no idea how impressively large the Bay was….it is quite a splendid site looking out over all that water.

We Made Our Goal A Full Day Ahead Of Schedule!

Well here we are….rolling into Delaware!  Not to brag, but we are a full day ahead of schedule.  We had planned on being set up at our site at the Monster Mile speedway in Dover on Friday, 10/5.

It is Thursday at 5:00 pm now.  We have been here for a couple of hours already. The guys have beenn setting up our “homestead”.  We will be here for the next three days.  The first order of business was to put up Ken’s beautiful new US flag (a birthday gift he received at our “going away” party on 9/26). Love waving old Glory!

We’ll be staying home tonight for dinner and plan on getting to bed early.  The humidity is horrid……it’s 94 degrees and 80 % humidity. I hope mother nature cools things off tomorrow.

Goodnight from Dover.
