We are on our way to New York! Had an easy start to the morning. We are getting the hang to breaking camp. Between the four of us everything was put away, closed up, and packed up in a timely manner. We left the campground around 10 AM.
The drive-up has been interesting. We’re on the Jersey Turnpike, decided to take it instead of the 295. No other reason than the GPS said it was quicker! Hope the toll is reasonable.
The turnpike is reminiscent of travel in Europe. Very few exits and they have service area turn offs every so often for fuel and food. Really nice. Traffic has been moderate and traveling at the speed limit.
We getting close to New York and anticipatory over the traffic getting into Jersey City where our campground is located. We’ll see!
