We woke up to a foggy morning in Indianapolis….and OMG….it is SO humid…..96% right now.

Last night I had the nicest surprise. My line dance family sent me the sweetest videos showing everyone waving and saying they missed me in class.  One of the things I don’t enjoy about such a long trip is not being able to dance with my friends.  Thank you Diana for taking time off the floor to make the videos, and thank you to everyone in class for making me feel so special.

We are on the road again….on our way to Ohio.  The roads seem a little better….that bumpy ride iast night made our teeth rattle.

We Just Crossed The Ohio Border

The fog lifted and it’s a nice sunny day.  Sure is pleasant just cruising along. I’m growing quite fond of listening to “The Road Dog Trucker Show”…sure beats listening to the news.

Stopping in Englewood, Ohio at the Super Walmart to replenish groceries for our ‘gourmet’ meals (i.e. sandwiches, salads & chili….lol) and to fuel up.

In the parking lot at Wally World

Still Rolling Along

We’ve been on the road for about eight hours so far.  After leaving Ohio, we went through a small portion of West Virginia, and now we’re in Pennsylvania.  Our goal tonight is the Battlefield KOA in Hagerstown, Maryland.

Shelby is a little road weary and is taking a nap.

Well…..I’m delighted to say we made it into Maryland and have set up camp at the KOA in the Hagerstown/Williamsport area – the site of Antietam….talk about an unbelievable chapter in American history.

We drove over 500 miles again today….hats off to Ken….that man can drive!
