It’s A Wonderful Life

Today was all about a very special wedding. Our good friends son married a wonderful young woman, and we were lucky enough to be there to witness the event.  The wedding was held in the Aldermann Building in downtown Boise. The reception followed in the  same gorgeous building.

These two young people are so perfect for each other.  The wedding was just lovely, and I don’t think there was a dry eye in the room when they spoke their special vows to each other.  Honestly, no matter what we see or do on our trip, this wedding will be the highlight for me.  I have known this young man all of his life, and if there is a sweeter, kinder person in the world I haven’t met him.

We took Uber to and from the wedding and it couldn’t have been easier….or cheaper.   We’ve only used UBER a few times, but every time it’s been a great experience.

The wedding was at 10:30 a.m., so we were back on the road again by 2:30 pm.   We had an easy going ride out of Boise on Highway 84.   Made a stop in Burley, Idaho at the Super Walmart to do a little shopping and let the doggies do their thing.

Got into Snowville, Utah by 5:30 pm and decided to have dinner in the RV….finally. We stopped at the Maverick Station first, and to Ken’s delight they had A&W root beer.  We bought a half gallon and it was quickly all gone….somebody loves A&W rootbeer.

Campsite in Snowville

We’re spending the night at the Earp and James Hitching Post.  This is a very basic RV park…definitely no frills, but perfect for our needs.  When we got here, no one was in the office, so we just used the drop box to pay for our site. There is only one shower/bath house, but since there aren’t too many campers here,  it isn’t a problem.

Goodnight from Snowville.
