For some reason, Windy got up about 5:30 am and woke me. I took her outside and then brought her back in while I went and took a shower.
Then we took off for a long desert walk.
Tonapah At Dawn
We walked about a mile up onto a hill and were rewarded with a beautiful sunrise over the mountains east of Tonopah.

I think she was awake listening to coyotes and squirrels and wanted to get outside and explore. For the last hour she’s been running about with her ears up and nose on the ground.
I think she’s really enjoyed being in different locations on the trip. It’s good to see her being an active dog. One of the joys in life.
