Before the trip gets too far away from us just wanted to let everyone know that our little Merry Maid is keeping our 26 foot “little house” fairly organized. It’s a tough job to keep three grown men and two dogs from destroying the interior of such a small space. Although everybody is helping out she’s doing a great job keeping it livable.
We’ve been enjoying the morning coolness. Windy and I took our usual walk around the facility. We stopped in at Mister Hot dogs, a truly Southern experience, for coffee .
Mister Hot Dogs a NASCAR tradition for 29 years. They’re retiring after Martinsville this year.
Got back and cleaned up outside from last night’s dinner dinner. Now we’re getting ready for the big race. Checked out the headset/scanners to make sure we were putting them on correctly and the batteries were all in place. Got our tickets in our neck wallets and starting to gather the essential binoculars, drinks and other paraphernalia required for an enjoyable afternoon.
No rain in sight but the sun is starting to come out so it’s going to get hot and humid! East coast weather makes me appreciate California, even with the crazy politics!
